Kickin’ It On Newbury Street

On Friday, June 8, Fermata Town hit the streets of Boston for their first street show of 2012 to help promote their Kickstarter campaign, a fundraising project they designed to help raise money for their debut CD.

Following a passing thunderstorm, the Townies hit Newbury Street for about an hour to sing through several tunes including two brand new songs. These new tunes include Stereo Hearts originally performed by Gym Class Heroes ft. Adam Levine and Settle Down originally performed by Kimbra.

Despite the early showers, the group was still able to draw a great crowd around the dinner hour, spreading the news for the Kickstarter campaign.

Tourist Winnie Ho from Melbourne, Australia loved listening and meeting the Townies saying, “You guys were amazing! I wish you success. I shall remember my last night in Boston as you sang my favorite Bruno Mars track!”

Thanks, Winnie! And thanks for all the great pictures from our set!!
